Six talks with a common theme: the laureates of the Catalonia Ecodesign Award 2019. We will discover the process of design and fabrication of the awarded products:

Award category “Product”

Product: Alpine
Design: Escofet_lab
Company: Escofet
Speakers: Gerard Arqué i Enric Periques

The product combines a practical, timeless and attractive design with a competitive price, using recycled, certified materials that give it strength, resistance and warmth. It has been designed so that the different parts can be easily repairs or replaced, thus extending the working life of the product.

Award category “Product under development ”

Product: Infinit denim
Design: Associació By My Eco
Company: Back to Eco
Ponentes: Montse Bayen

The product developed offers a local solution to post-consumer waste that is generated in significant volumes. Waste that has been disposed of several times is used to obtain a high-performance yarn that is suitable for reproducing textile products. This is, therefore, an example of circular economy applied to a product.
