The Design Market is the market for independent designers organized by the FAD every Christmas. The next edition will take place on 13, 14 and 15 December at the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
The Design Market Barcelona is the market for independent designers organized by the FAD every Christmas. With each edition attracting nearly 10,000 attendees, after eight consecutive years this market has become an indispensable event for lovers of good design, both for the painstaking selection of exhibitors and for its exceptional setting, the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

The jury of the Design Market Barcelona
The 8th edition of the Design Market Barcelona will take place on 13, 14 and 15 December 2019. The selection of exhibitors will be made by a committee of experts comprising design professionals, members of the different FAD associations: A-FAD, artists and artisans; ADG-FAD, art directors and graphic designers; ADI-FAD, product designers, ARQUIN-FAD, architects and interior designers; and MODA-FAD, fashion designers.
The comittee of experts has been comprised by: Laura Armet, graphic designer and Emeyele studio founder; Pamela Perez Masferrer, jeweler; Ariadna Rousaud, journalist specialised in storytelling and design, and founder of the Elástica Magazine; Roger Subirà, architect, professor and curator; and Inés Martín Borregón, creative director of Aloha Sandals. Separately from FAD board members we counted on two external collaborators: Rossend Casanova, historian, curator and manager of the product design collection of the Design Museum; and Marc Longaron, managing director of Architects Cooperative Jordi Capell.
