The Sustainable Challenge is an annual project committed to generating knowledge and proposals to favour sustainability in the fashion industry.

In its 4th edition, under the title of “Fashion for Body Diversity” and in the context of a creation marathon, 30 fashion students from Spain and the United Kingdom, advised by fashion industry experts, accepted the challenge of designing according to body diversity, adapting garments to different body types and promoting fashion as a tool to facilitate social inclusion.

In this exhibition you will find the six projects resulting from the fashion design marathon, which took place from 10 to 12 November 2022 at the Disseny Hub Barcelona. Each project was undertaken by a team of five students for a male or female model with a different body type. The three body diversities treated were “Body Types” (large and small), “Physical Disability” (wheelchair and prosthesis) and “Sensory Disability” (blindness and autism).
